The Lungau ski bus service runs between 8am and 5.45pm and is free to anyone in ski clothing and with a valid ski pass. This wonderful service provides transport to each main ski lift throughout
the entire Lungau ski region. The type of pass you purchase indicates where you can travel free of charge. For example if you purchase a Lungau pass you are free to travel between the areas of Grosseck-Speiereck, Aineck-Katschberg and Fanningberg. With a Lungo pass you can also travel to Obertauern. Skiers who have not yet purchased a pass but are (obviously) on their way to a ski area for the purpose of skiing are entitled to their first ride free of charge.
Timetables can be found on the Post Bus website and a copy is provided in your Haus Bellevue accommodation.
This free service is only available to those using the alpine areas for the purpose of skiing. Cross country skiers without an Alpine Pass are excluded from the free service. However,
for the purpose of traveling to and from cross country ski trails an alternative combo ticket can be bought. This entitles the bearer to use all bus lines (normal and ski bus) and includes access to all cross country trails. A combo ticket costs around €27 and can be purchased directly from any of the bus drivers.
Anyone who purchases a Lungo pass may use all of the Lungau bus services (normal and ski bus) without restriction but only between the lift operating hours of 8am and 5.45pm.
The ski bus stop closest to Haus Bellevue lies approximately 5 minutes walk away, the route is depicted on the town plan below.
