Katschberg-Aineck

The ski region of Katschberg-Aineck lies in a favourable position on the border between Carinthea and Salzburgerland. With snow coming from all directions the popular area provides snow-sure skiing on 70km of prepared piste serviced by 16 different lifts. The pistes are wide, well groomed and great for carving with inclines varying from family friendly to seriously challenging. A selection of alpine lodges, shops, bars and restaurants can be found across the entire region. Attractions include a half pipe, the 6km long A1 runnig the entire length of Aineck, regular nights skiing, a 1,5km floodlit toboggan run, cross country trails and lots of opportunity for ski touring and freeriding. The region is accessible from either the lift station in St Margarethen or from Katschberg centre.
