VIGNETTE

If you are driving from outside of Austria be sure to pick up a "Vignette" (Austrian Road Tax) for your car and stick it to your windscreen.  These can be purchased from most motorway services and cost roughly 8 Euros for 10 days.  Cars hired from within Austria usually supply a Vignette automatically but it is worth checking before leaving...  Further information can be found in "Driving In Austria".
