Hello, we are your hosts Gary, Amanda and Kito Hewitt.

We welcome you to our home and would like to share with you some of our history - after all it's important to know who you are staying with......

We originally come from a coastal town near to Newcastle in the North East of England.  Up until the end of 2008 we lead a very different kind of life as Martial Arts and Fitness Instructors.

Before our son Kito was born we traveled both independently and together around the world eventually settling in the UK again in 1999.

In 2000 we set up our own permanent Martial Arts Academy and spent the subsequent 8 years dedicating all of our time and effort into the development of ourselves and our students.  We were very successful, but our dedication left little time for anything else and we were acutely aware that our Son was growing up fast.

We spent all of our vacation time in Austria, mostly skiing and snowboarding and grew to love everything about the country and it's people.  We were strongly attracted to the pride the Austrian folk have of their land and the efforts they go to in order to maintain and develop their own towns.  We saw the opportunity for a new life, a place where we could experience everything that nature has to offer and to live somewhere the air is fresh and the views are breathtaking.  We still muse over whether we will ever get used to the beauty of the valley...

Now together we enjoy new experiences in a place where we can hike, climb, mountain bike, ski & snowboard, amongst many other things. We dedicate ourselves to improving our House and the facilities we can offer, ensuring the very best service is provided for our guests.
